We are right on the border of Whitley Bay and Cullercoats. Just around the corner is the Blue Flag Cullercoats Bay, popular with families and still used by fishing cobles. The RNLI operate out of here and on Sunday mornings you can often see them out in Brown’s Bay on training exercises.

Cullercoats Metro is just a few minutes walk away, and Whitley Bay and Tynemouth are both within walking distance. Twenty five minutes on the Metro takes you to the heart of Newcastle with a variety of clubs, pubs, shops and theatres.

Within easy walking distance of the apartments are excellent Chinese, Indian and Italian restaurants who also offer a takeaway service for those cosy nights in. Bill’s Fish and Chip Shop in Cullercoats is always a hit with our guests.

We have large beautifully lawned gardens and we supply boules and croquet for your enjoyment. Look out for the ‘Jean Davis’, the most beautiful flower boat in the area, and attribute to a friend and former owner of number 1 Southcliff.

We are in the ideal location to explore the Northumberland Coast wit its many castles and historic Durham City with its magnificent Cathedral. If you have come from afar then York, Edinburgh and the Lake District are all trips that you can do in a day.
